Since my first trip to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) during summer of 2010 it become my favourite tiger park in India. Though Ranthambhore NP holds especial place in my heart as I had my first tiger sighting here and frequently visited between 2004-2008 . But since I am placed at Bangalore travelling to TATR is much easier & off lately tiger sighting in TATR is among best in Central India.

The wildebeest and zebra migration that occurs annually in Kenya is truly one of the planet’s most wonderful of spectacles. . The vertiginous immensity of the event is overwhelming, numbers so large that they are hard to visualize. No where in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration; over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during July through to October.
I got the chance to photograph my first migration as I joined by Dr Eash Hoskota & Anand Sachdeva, in August of 2012 t. Being my first visit to the Mara, I arrived with high expectations and was simply blown away. The vastness of the Mara is only surpassed by the sheer number of Wildebeest that swarm the grassland during this time. It was astonishing to see the rolling plains filled with animals as far as the eye could see!
